Regent Hires New Revenue Cycle Director

Regent Surgical Health is pleased to announce that Michael Orseno has recently joined the executive team as Revenue Cycle Director. Mike comes to Regent from the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch, where he served as Revenue Cycle Administrator.

Mike will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the revenue cycle process, including internal and external auditing, billing, transaction posting, collection activities and performance reporting. He will also be responsible for developing and maintaining related policies and procedures. In addition, he will oversee Regent’s internal Billing and Collections team.

Michael grew up in Westmont, IL. He attended Augustana College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration. He went on to receive a Master of Science Degree in Health Systems Management from Rush University Medical Center. His interest in healthcare stems from a desire to help people. Ever since spending time in the hospital with his dying grandfather, he always knew he wanted to work in the industry.

When asked, Mike says he joined Regent Surgical Health because of the unique opportunity to assist both external ambulatory surgery centers and hospitals with their revenue cycle operations and to manage an internal revenue cycle team. He says another contributing factor was the great group of people he will work with on an everyday basis at Regent.

Please join me in welcoming Mike to the Regent family!
