Regent Surgical Health is an experienced surgery center developer and physician hospital developer and specialist in turnaround situations. By partnering with Regent, our expertise goes to work to develop and manage your center and produce almost immediate improvements in your financial health.

In addition to acquiring underperforming ambulatory surgery centers and physician-owned hospitals, we also turn single specialty ambulatory surgery centers into multi-specialty, larger entities. We have a proven record with neurosurgery centers, orthopedic centers and spine center turnarounds and development.

Regent believes that doctors need to own the majority interest in their facilities and control their own destiny. As a result, Regent typically owns about 20 percent of the ambulatory surgery centers and 10 percent of the physician-owned hospitals in which we partner. Our principals invest their capital and expertise in each facility, sharing risks side-by-side with our surgeon and hospital partners. We employ a Limited Liability Company (LLC) business model, which places the control of the business in the hands of the physician partners. The Board of Directors consists of five to seven elected members and oversees the business. In all cases, Regent has one seat on the board with the remaining seats reserved for physician members.

Formed in 2001, Regent Surgical Health is located in Westchester, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, with regional offices in California.
