Two Regent ASC Administrators honored with title of “Great Administrator to Know”
Westchester, IL (July 2, 2010) — Regent Surgical Health, the nation’s leading specialist in surgery center repositioning, would like to congratulate two of its ASC Administrators who were identified among the 50 Great ASC Administrators to Know by Becker’s ASC Review:
Eric Day, MBA, ATC, LAT, The Center for Special Surgery at TCA, San Antonio, TX
Anne Roberts, RN, The Surgery Center of Reno, Reno, NV
Mr. Day began his career as an athletic trainer. He gradually moved into administration, working with outpatient rehabilitation and diagnostic imaging centers before beginning to work with Orthopedists in an ASC setting.
Mr. Day credits the success of the Center for Special Surgery to his "dedicated staff that provides great care to our patients". He says that the facility is doing well in a market "full of ASCs" and notes "we are lucky that we are supported by the physicians in our building, they keep the center going."
Ms. Roberts began her nursing career in the emergency department. After spending her first few years as a staff nurse, she went on to manage a busy ED that saw 55,000 patients annually.
Ms. Roberts says "I am very proud of the excellent care we provide to our patients with a focus on exceeding the physician and patient’s expectations. The Surgery Center of Reno recently obtained AAAHC accreditation and, according to Ms. Roberts, has created a "progressive spine program, pain management program and an excellent orthopedic service line."
Tom Mallon, CEO of Regent, congratulated the two administrators, saying, "I’d like to congratulate Eric and Anne on receiving this honor. They both do a fantastic job for their facilities every day. Keep up the good work!"
